Our goal is to not only impact the lives of the children whose parents attend the course, but the surrounding families and to see a generational change, that the children that benefited from our course would go on to become confident loving parents. For Whānau Mārama Parenting to continue to deliver high quality courses, we rely on donations from the community.

Volunteer with us
At Whānau Mārama Parenting, our volunteering opportunities range from office work, co-facilitation of our courses to event organisation to public awareness raising and fundraising. Volunteering with us is an opportunity to learn and develop new skills, practice English (and your language), meet other volunteers and make new friends.
Our courses are all supported by teams of committed and enthusiastic volunteers while across our offices skilled volunteers help us with tasks from administration to accounting.

Be a Supporter
Being a non-profit organization, we rely on donations and sponsorships to keep our courses up and running. The amount we charge for parents to attend the courses is just enough to provide them morning tea and print their handout pages.
